HOME FELLOWSHIP

About Home Fellowships

At Calvary Chapel Southeast, we want our Home Fellowships to complement our Sunday morning worship services and provide a more intimate setting for people to further study the weekly teaching and grow in relationships with one another. The format of Home Fellowships is very simple.

  • Develop Gospel-Centered Friendships
  • Spend Time in the Scriptures
  • Pray With One Another
  • Care for One Another
  • Mission/Outreach to Each Community

What Are Groups Like?

Our groups meet weekly for approximately two hours. Each group is made up of people who live as ministers of reconciliation in their local context, encouraging one another and serving their community in love, humility, and the power of the Holy Spirit. These groups are also a place where people are able to develop friendships, pray and be prayed for, encourage each other and be encouraged. While each group has its own personality and weekly rhythms, the central Home Fellowship event is the night of Bible study and prayer. The Bible study is based on the biblical text that was preached on the preceding Sunday.

Reasons for Joining

Life can be extremely difficult and draining. No one was ever meant to "do life" alone. We are all designed to walk with each other, grow with one another and to glorify God together. Everyone needs the support and encouragement of other people. Everyone needs community! We desire and encourage everyone who considers Calvary Chapel Southeast their home church to seriously consider the importance of this kind of needed fellowship.
